Here we are 33 days away from leaving to China...but who's counting? (every single family who's in the same boat, that's who). Christy and I have been so blessed by all the people submitting comments on our blog. We never expected non-family to check it out. Of course Christy has been checking out many other family's blogs, following their story and trip to China, so I guess we shouldn't be surprised.
Some friends of ours who live in Arizona are currently in Ethiopia adopting three siblings ages 12, 10, and 6. They took their entire family of 4 biological children with them. What a blessing to be able to take them all to meet their new siblings. According the Theresa, the mother, Ethiopia is a major culture shock. People are bathing on the streets, begging, poverty everywhere, so sad. For all of you adoptive families, don't you find yourselves wishing you could just adopt the whole lot and bring them home with you?
God Bless all you families who are currently in China getting your child, and for those who are waiting, and waiting, and waiting, remember, it's WORTH THE WAIT!
